Patricia Gregory Curtis was reared in Missouri and the Ozarks. Though she and her husband, Max have traveled over most of the United States, Canada, and Mexico, she loves this part of the country and now resides in Joplin, Missouri, with her husband and their two little Yorkies, Skeeter and Dollie. She's a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, the Missouri Writers' Guild, and The American Christian Writers Association.
"I'm a mother and grandmother who loves a good story and while writing stories for my grandchildren, I was known as the storytelling grandmother. I became interested in writing stories and novels for all children. I also love to write inspirational stories of real-life events.
"Though I have had several short stories published, this is my first book and it gives me great pleasure that my granddaughter, Elissa Moore Reynolds, illustrated the cover for my new book, A Secret from the Deep."
