HOW TO JOIN
AMERICA WRITES FOR KIDS! is a project of the Drury University School of Education and Child Development, supported by the Springfield-Greene County Libraries. Its goal is to promote literacy and creativity by introducing young readers, parents, teachers, and librarians to the work of real, live childrens authors. Please see MISSOURI WRITES FOR KIDS! for a short history of this project.
All childrens authors currently living in the United States who have at least one trade book available in the Springfield-Greene County Libraries are invited to join AMERICA WRITES FOR KIDS! Please submit your webpage URL to us at the address below for consideration. We ask only that you provide a reciprocal link.
Effective July 1, 2007, additional links to this site are limited to authors' pages featuring at least one book published by a trade publisher. As always, authors' pages under consideration must be devoted entirely to work for young readers.
